About Project
The development has 415 apartments with a variety of balcony types across the site.
With the changes to Building Regulations, consideration of the materials used in the balconies has begun and first steps to updating the necessary apartments has started.
Adek A30 was selected to replace the flooring on three balconies on one property – and the homeowner even requested a standing bench table be included, also made from the Adek boards, for the odd ‘sun-downer’ while admiring the beautiful view!
With the modern sleek lines of the boards and lovely surface, the material was well received by both the property owner and installer alike.
The Adek Balcony and Terrace system meets the revised Building Regulations with a fire rating of A2FL-S1, having undergone independent third-party testing to BS EN 13501-1: 2018.
