Designed with ease of installation in mind

Adek uses a face fixing method, through specially designed channels, which is not only quick but removes the need for fiddly clips, maintaining a flush final finish. Furthermore, the optional extra wide 295mm boards reduces installation time massively.

As well as fitting onsite, Adek has also been designed to allow for complete offsite installation onto prefabricated balcony units without the need to leave off individual boards when craning into position.

“This is the first installation of an Aluminium decking to a full apartment block on the south coast that we are aware of and we are very happy with the materials used along with the finished look and feel which has been greatly received by the residents.

We believe that the removal of existing combustible material can only be a good thing in helping mitigate the chances of potential fire situations starting on balconies. We recommend all owners of apartments with balconies upgrade to Aluminium decking in the efforts to keep everyone safe and reduce chances of fire related incidents.”
